Word Groups

Objective

  • Sort 16 words into 4 groups of 4, where each group shares a common theme.

How to Play

  • Select 4 words you think belong together, then submit.
  • If correct, the group is revealed and removed from the board.
  • If wrong, you lose one of your 4 allowed mistakes.

Feedback

  • "One away" appears when exactly 3 of your 4 selected words are from the same group.
  • Use the shuffle button to rearrange the remaining words for a fresh perspective.

Winning & Losing

  • Win by finding all 4 groups before making 4 mistakes.
  • The game ends if you reach 4 mistakes — remaining groups are revealed.

Scoring

  • Your score shows how close you were to a perfect game.
  • "Perfect" means no mistakes. "+N" means N mistakes were made.

Tips

  • Look for the most obvious group first to remove words from the board.
  • Watch out for words that could fit multiple categories — they're often traps.
