Paths
Objective
- Build a continuous path from the origin country to the destination by naming bordering countries.
How to Play
- Type the name of a country to add it to the path.
- Each guess is color-coded based on how useful it is.
- The path advances when you guess a country adjacent to the current end.
- Reach the destination before running out of guesses to win.
Color Feedback
- Green (locked) — adjacent to the path end and on the optimal route. Immediately extends your path.
- Green (unlocked) — on the optimal route but not adjacent to the path end yet.
- Yellow — adjacent to the path end but off the optimal route. Extends the path with an extra step.
- Red — neither adjacent nor on the optimal route. Uses a guess without advancing.
Scoring
- Your score shows how close you were to a perfect game.
- "Perfect" means you followed the optimal path in order with no extra steps.
- "+0" means you found the shortest path but not in the optimal order.
- "+N" means N extra steps from detours or wasted guesses.
Tips
- Think about geography before guessing — which countries actually share borders along the route?
- If you're stuck, guess a country you're confident is on the optimal path, even if it's not adjacent yet.
